Tyler Lane--Teacher and Director of Program Development

Tyler grew up in Dayton, TN and earned a Bachelor‘s degree in History and Secondary Education from Carson Newman. For 16 years, he taught social studies classes at Bearden High School, the majority being World History and Bible History elective. He also coached the golf and tennis teams for a total of 18 seasons. Tyler has volunteered with ministries such as Christ Led Communities, Safe Families, and FCA where he was named the Alvah Bible Campus Influence award recipient in 2014. He lives with his wife Katie and their 3 kids, Maggie (9), Thomas (7), and Davey (6). 

Bobbi graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics from Grove City College (PA) in 1991 and worked in ALCOA’s IT department in Pittsburgh and Knoxville until 1997.  She home educated her children for over 20 years, which included directing and teaching in several homeschool cooperatives.  Bobbi has volunteered in leadership roles in various Christian ministries such as the Billy Graham Crusade, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), First Baptist Concord Sonshine Ministry , and church preschool and student ministries. Bobbi and her husband Chet live in Farragut have been married over 30 years and have 5 daughters, 3 sons, 2 son-n-laws and one grandson.
