Anchor Learning Center started with the goal of providing “Released Time” religious instruction at Farragut High School.

We are made up of a board of 8 parents in the Farragut community representing 5 churches.

There will be 2 classes offered daily during 1st and 2nd block meeting at the Faith Promise Farragut Location at 144 West End Ave.
Students are able to earn 1 elective credit each semester (Old Testament in the Fall, New Testament in the Spring).
Students interested in taking the class can request a schedule change with the FHS guidance

Did you know is it legal for public school students to study the Bible from a Christian worldview during the school day?
”Released Time” is legal and constitutional when three things are in place:
1. Instruction takes place off school grounds (Anchor Learning Center class will be held at the Faith Promise Farragut Campus)
2. Students attenda

”Released Time” is legal and constitutional when three things are in place:
1. Instruction takes place off school grounds (Anchor Learning Center class will be held at the Faith Promise Farragut Campus)
2. Students attendance is voluntary and with parent permission
3. No State or federal resources (taxpayer funds) are used. Released Time is privately funded—by churches, community organizations, and/or individuals.

Any Farragut High School student interested in taking either Old Testament in the fall of 2024 or New Testament in the spring of 2025 must have their parent complete this form in order for the student to be considered for enrollment at the Anchor Learning Center. The student must request to take the course with their school counselor to p
